"Best jokes of the fringe at the edinburgh festival 2017"

Lorna is a  critically acclaimed comedian, writer, actor and improviser.

Since cutting her teeth in sketch comedy with duo That Pair who garnered critical acclaim and sold out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe between 2011 and 2015 and transferred to the Soho Theatre in London, she has quickly established herself on the stand-up circuit. Lorna made her solo debut at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017 with a musical character comedy show, Ava Rage, and was featured in the Evening Standard's 'Best Jokes of The Edinburgh Fringe'. The following year she went on to become a Musical Comedy Awards Finalist and was shortlisted for the Funny Women writing award. She made her second solo offering at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019 with an hour of narrative stand-up about true crime, law and justice that received wide praise for its honed writing and slick performance.

As an actor, her TV and Radio credits include 'Plebs' ITV2, 'The Midnight Beast', E4, BBC Comedy Feeds 'Life Guru' and 'Newsjack' on BBC Radio 4 amongst others.

Lorna trained at London's leading improv school, The Free Association, and is regularly cast in their in-house shows including TACO CAT - an improvised palindrome (!)  and I'M NOT HERE TO MAKE FRIENDS - an improvised Reality TV Show - amongst others.

During the pandemic-induced live comedy hiatus, Lorna wrote a comedy drama pilot and is now working on other TV pitches as well as writing a new live show for Summer 2022.
